The Government of Kerala may soon approve funds worth INR 2,374 lakhs for disbursing of higher education scholarship to graduate and postgraduate students.
State Education Minister, C Raveendranath has said that the amount would be given to Kerala State Higher Education Council as supplementary demand for grant.
The amount is going will be used for disbursing of scholarships pending for the academic period of 2014-15, 2015-16 and 2022-17, the minister said.
The fund of INR 2,374 lakh, if sanctioned, will make life easier for students, especially those with poor financial background.
Candidates awaiting their scholarship can visit the official website of Kerala State Higher Education Council at http://www.kshec.kerala.gov.in/ to see the provisional list of the higher education scholarship.
The list also includes the university wise distribution of the scholarship.
