The Naga Students Union in New Delhi announced that a help desk has been set up to assist students from the North-East during admissions to Delhi University.
"Students from the northeast regions go through a host of issues during the admission procedure. This is regarding accommodation, cut-offs, reservation, courses and various other issues," the union's vice president Seve Vadeo said.
The volunteers for the helpdesk will be placed in north campus and Arts Faculty for the convenience of the students.
The varsity’s colleges declared their first cut-off lists on Wednesday. The second lists will be out on June 21. With a total of five lists this year, unlike four in the past, the admission process will continue till July 13.
Delhi University's academic year begins on July 15.
