Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College presents Quality Improvement Programme

Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana, Punjab has come up with a Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) which is sponsored by All Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Eligiblity Criteria:

Only Full-Time Regular / Permanent teachers of AICTE recognized Degree level Engineering Institutes, NIT's & NITTTR's are eligible. Teachers of Major QIP centres are not eligible to apply to minor QIP centres. However teachers from Minor QIP centres are eligible to apply to major QIP centres.

Concessions, relaxation and reservation for SC / ST / OBC, Physically disabled / Female Candidates are as per rules.

 REQUIREMENTS FOR ADVANCE ADMISSION TO Ph.D. PROGRAMME

A Master Degree or equivalent in an appropriate branch and other eligibility criteria prescribed by the individual Department's in the institution to which admission is sought. A minimum teaching experience of 3 years at BE / B.Tech. level in an AICTE approved Engineering Institution / NIT.

During the one year period of Pre-Ph.D. programme, candidate is required to make maximum of four visits to the institution (to which he / she is offered admission) for a total period of sixty days, to decide on the area of research, to identify guide, and to start preliminary work. The question of final offer for admission will be considered based on the performance of the candidate during the period of the advance admission.

One can apply to a maximum of 3 Institutions (QIP Centres) with maximum of 2 departments in each of them. The completed applications form is to be sent to :
