Gurgaon Gramin Bank (GGB) Officers Recruitment Exam 2012: Exam Notification

Gurgaon Gramin Bank (GGB), a Regional Rural Bank is sponsored by Syndicate Bank. The Bank is operational in seven districts i.e. Gurgaon, Faridabad,Palwal, Mewat, Rewari, Mahendergarh and Sonepat with 163 Branches.

Gurgaon Gramin Bank (GGB) announces recruitment exam 2012 for posts of Officer Middle Management Grade Scale-III, Officer Middle Management Grade (Scale II), Officer Junior Management Grade (Scale-I) Cadre and Office Assistant (Multipurpose).

Eligibility for GGB Recruitment Exam 2012  

The eligibility criterion for all the posts is different:

Eligibility for Officer Middle Management Grade Scale-III

• You must be an Indian Citizen.
• You must be above 21 years but below 40 years of age.
• You must have 50% marks in aggregate in degree from a recognised University in any discipline or its equivalent.
• You will be given preference if you have Degree or Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
• You must have minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in any Bank or Financial Institutions.

Eligibility for Officer Middle Management Grade (Scale II)

• You must be an Indian Citizen.
• You must be above 21 years but below 32 years of age.

IT Officer

• You must have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Engineering Degree in Electronics /Communication / Computer Science / IT from a recognised University or its equivalent.
• You must have Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc.
• You must have 1 year experience in Banking or other financial institutions.

Marketing Officer

• You must have MBA degree in Marketing from any recognised Institute.
• You must have 1 year experience in Banking or other financial institutions

Agriculture Officer

• You must have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in degree in any discipline in Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering and Pisciculture from a recognised University or its equivalent.
• You must have 2 years experience in Agriculture Finance

General Banking Officer

• You must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
• You will be given preference if you have degree or diploma in Banking. Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
• You must have 2 years experience as an officer in Bank or Financial Institution.

Eligibility for Officer Middle Management Grade (Scale I)

• You must be an Indian Citizen.
• You must be above 18 years but below 28 years of age.
• You must have Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university or its equivalent.
• You will be given preference, if you have degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
• You must have proficiency in local language i.e. Hindi.
• You must have Computer Knowledge or awareness.

Eligibility for Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

• You must be an Indian Citizen with domicile of Haryana State.
• You must be above 18 years but below 28 years of age.
• You must have Bachelor Degree or its equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university.
• You must have proficiency in local language i.e. Hindi.
• You must have Knowledge of Computer skills.

• You can take the print out of duly filled application form for future reference.

• After filling the challan, you can submit application fee for GGB Recruitment Exam 2012 at any branch of Syndicate Bank.

The GGB Recruitment Exam 2012 will be conducted at Gurgaon, Palwal, Rewari, Faridabad, Narnaul and Sonipat.  

Test Pattern for GGB Recruitment Exam 2012

The GGB Recruitment Exam 2012 is an objective test of 2 hours and 30 minutes. The test for Officer Scale – III & Officer Scale II will consist of 200 objective type questions of one mark each of following subjects:

• Test of Reasoning
• Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation
• Financial Awareness
• General English
• General Hindi

The test for Officer Scale - I and Office Assistant will consist of 200 objective type questions of one mark each of following subjects:

• Test of Reasoning
• Numerical Ability
• General Knowledge
• General English
• General Hindi
