Golden Jubilee Celebration at SIT

Golden jubilee celebration of Siddaganga Institute of Technology (SIT) had been celebrated in grand manner in Dr Shivakumara Swamiji Stadium, SIT Campus on September 18, 2013.

On this occasion President of Siddaganga Education society Dr Sree Shivakumara Swamiji,President of Siddaganga math Sree Siddalinga Swamiji,Former president Bharat Ratna Dr APJ Abdul kalam,Former chief justice of Supreme Court of India Mr M N Venkatachalaiah, the recruitment chief of TCS Mr Chakrawarty and other dignitaries were present.

On his inaugural address Dr Kalam pitches for smart waterways grid in state. He also added that Biotechnology and nanotechnology would help to provide advanced health care to people in the coming days, so related subjects must be introduced in the engineering & technology. He emphasized to the role of youth for country.

The former chief justice Mr Venkatachalaiah stressed the need for post harvesting technology in todays era. He shown his great devotion towards Sri Shivakumara Swamiji in his speech and said him like moving God having great love and affection for mankind.

His holiness Sree Shivakumara Swamiji also blessed the students and devotees during his address and appreciated the quality of education of the institute.

Dr M N Channabassapa (Director, SIT) Presided the function and Principal Dr Shivakumaraiah delivered the vote of thanks to all the Staffs, Students, alumnus and guests for their presence and making it great success.

Overall the event was a great success in presence of all the prominent personnel.
