GCET 2012 (Goa Common Entrance Test)

GCET 2012 (Goa Common Entrance Test) for admissions to 1st year of professional degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture and Homeopathy in the state of Goa shall be conducted on 9th & 10th May, 2012 as per the following schedule at 10 centres in Goa:

GCET 2012 question paper shall be of objective, multiple-choice type containing 75 questions of 1 mark each, with no negative marking.

GCET 2012 shall be based on syllabus prescribed by Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Porvorim for Std. XIIth examination of March, 2012 in the above subjects.

In case Hon. Supreme Court/High Court/ MCI/DCI /MHRD/any other regulatory authority, notifies a mandatory National Level Entrance Test/Selection procedure for admissions to any of the above Professional Courses for the academic year  2012-13, the same shall prevail, and admissions to other remaining  Professional Degree Courses in the State, shall be carried out on the basis of GCET-2012.
