Gaurav Singh’s consistent achievements in field of research have brought great fame to his university.
Gaurav Singh, undergraduate students from School of Electronics Engineering is a true icon of KIIT University. His multidisciplinary research work is truly appreciable.
His field of research includes Electronics Materials, Dielectric, Magneto dielectric & Giant Dielectric Material, Ferroelectric Materials, Piezoelectric Materials. His 10 publications in form of paper/abstracts, 7 Projects (all National Level), in the organizing committee of over 10 National Conference shows his capability to handle the vast fields with ease apart from managing his regular course work with good grades.
His biggest achievement is his first international appearance at ICMAT-2013 where his research work in the field of “Antenna Technology” was highly appreciated by the international scientists. He was the youngest in the world for oral presentation at ICMAT-2013, Singapore. He was funded by the MRS-Singapore for presenting paper ICMAT-2013. Currently he holds awarded membership of two international bodies IMI-SEE, MRS-S.
Consistent guidelines from his Professor Dr. SKS Parashar are the main source of motivation to take the challenges and solve it in time at the age of 19 years.
He is currently working on a new type of nonmaterial which will be used as the substrate material against the traditional material. He has already synthesized and tested it with antenna and it is working. He is looking forward for its patent after some more phase of clearance in terms of radiation effects.
His great ability to work on different nonmaterial’s and doing simulation to analyze and estimate the probable outcomes makes him different from millions who are working in the field of materials science.
He works on ADS, HFSS-14, Multisim, and Xilinx for simulating different electronic circuits. After the optimization he looks for its fabrication.
Besides all these he takes out his time from his busy schedule for his fitness. According to Gaurav Singh “My biggest passion is swimming, beside this I go for playing football with my university friends and like goalkeeping”.
