GATE RESULTS 2011 ARE OUT

IIT has declared results for GATE 2011 on March 15,2011.

GATE is held at an all India level and happens on a yearly basis.The examination procedure of GATE was diversified this year and it took place on a twin platform one was online and the other being the offline courses.The online examination was held on 30th January whereas the offline test was held on 13th february.
The complete coordination and management of conducting the GATE 2011 is with the Madras Campus and Institute of Technology.

The GATE scores to both the qualified and the non-qualified candidates are available on the GATE websites.

The GATE is seen as a benchmark for admission to post graduates and research programmes by many universities outside the country as well. The GATE qualified candidates in the Engineering discipline are also eligible for the award of Junior Research Fellowship in CSIR Laboratories.
