The first phase of The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2015 (GATE 2015) was conducted on Saturday, January 31 and Sunday, February 1, 2015. The other phases were conducted on February 7 and 8, during forenoon and afternoon sessions on alternate weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

Better remuneration is being offered for students of M.Tech/M.E as compared to those pursuing B.Tech /B.E. After completing an M.Tech course, one can aim at a salary package ranging from Rs 7 lakh to 30 lakh per annum, depending on specialization and performance.
