GAT 2016: Important Dates

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) has announced the exam dates of GITAM Admission Test (GAT) 2022 for admission in undergraduate and postgraduate technology & pharmacy programmes of the GITAM University at Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bengaluru campuses.

GAT 2022 is computer based online test, which is scheduled to be conducted from 19^th April to 8^th May 2022.

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) has released important dates and instructions for candidates applying for GAT 2022 on their official website.

Eligibility Criteria – GAT 2022

To take admission in undergraduate programmes applicants must have completed 10+2 examination form a recognized board with following subjects’ criteria for different programmes:

B.Tech Programmes – Applicants must have minimum 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry and First Class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination

B.Tech in Biotechnology – Applicants must have minimum 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Biology, Physics & Chemistry and First Class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination

B.Pharmacy - Applicants must have minimum 50% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.

B. Arch - Applicants must have minimum 50% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and should have also qualified for the NAT & JEE (Main).

For Postgraduate Programmes

Applicants must have passed in the Qualifying Examination from recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade and score obtained in GAT (PGT).

How to apply for 2022 GITAM Admission Test

Online mode

Candidates can apply online for GAT 2022 by visiting official website of the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) 

Offline mode

Candidates can also apply for the application form by sending a request to the name of Director on plain paper giving the candidate’s name with complete mailing address accompanied by DD for Rs. 150/- drawn in favour of GITAM University till 25^th March 2022.

Applications are available throughout India in specified branches of Union Bank of India, Indian Bank and Karur Vysya Bank.
