GAT 2012 to be Conducted by Gitam University

GITAM Admission Test (GAT) 2012, is an online test for admission to UG and PG Technology Programs at its Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam Campuses.

The course comprises B. Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering and other streams, Dual Degree Programmes, M.Tech Programmes in Biotechnology, Software Engineering and Machine Design etc.

Eligibility Criteria:  

1) Candidates with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry and 1st class or equivalent grade in the qualifying paper in single attempt can apply for B.Tech. (except Biotechnology).

2) For Biotechnology other than the 1st class in qualifying exam, a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Biology, Chemistry & Physics or Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry are required.

3) Those who want to appear for B.Tech should be passed in B.tech in respective discipline with minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade and score obtained in GAT (PGT) 2012.

Important Dates:  

1) The last date for submission of application forms is March 14, 2012.
2) The Online Entrance Test will be held at different Centres from 15th April to 4th May.
