The cut offs were expected to be high because the number of students in the “Elite 95” club increased to 8,971 in 2014 from 5,996 last year. The DU has scrapped its controversial FYUP this year which eventually has paved the way for return of the popular courses like BA (Program), B.Com (Program) and B.Sc (Program).

The number of students seeking admission is expected to be high since there is still one day to go before the admissions close for the first cut off list. The Colleges will come out with the second cut off list on Friday, 4th July 2014.
