The MGM’s Dr. G Y Patrikar College of Computer Sciences and Information Technology, Aurangabad recently held its fresher party on November 8, 2014.
Entitled as ‘sparkling frestoes 2014, the event held at Rukhmini Auditorium. Dr. Prapti Deshmukh, College Principal, Nitin Nalgirkar, Director, Expert Solutions, Aurangabad and RJ Swapnil, Radio Mirchi inaugurated the event by light the traditional lamp.
Nitin Nalgirkar explained the students about the scope in the field of information technology.
Later, there was an introduction round, wherein the juniors came on stage and introduced themselves to everybody. Afterwards, each of the junior picked up a chit and performed the tasks written on it. While someone were made to sing and dance, others were told to do whatever they are interested and it was interesting to see the juniors performing these tasks with great enthusiasm.
The freshers, who were all dressed in their best for the event, had decorated the venue innovatively. Speaking about the party, Deshmukh said, “The idea behind this party was to welcome the freshers and familiarize them with the senior students.”
The high point of the event was crowing of Miss and Mr Fresher that was won by Devyani Vankhedi and Prashant Rawale, respectively.
Expressing his joy on clinching the title, Mr. fresher, Prashant Rawale said that he is blessed to have this title and thanked the seniors for this amazing event conducted.
