French Language Course in Gauhati University

The Centre of Mass Communication and Journalism in Cotton College in Guwahati has introduced a Foreign Language Programme (French) as a value added course for professionals, teachers and students. According to a press release, the programme will be a course in French language with a six months ‘Certificate Course in French ’ to be followed by  a one year ‘Diploma in French’. The course was announced by the principal Dr. I K Bhattacharya at the meeting held at the college. 

The programme is expected to attract under graduate and post graduate students across disciplines like engineering, mass communication, management, tourism & hospitality, aviation, literature, social sciences etc., who desire to add value to their core disciplines. Besides students, the programme is also targeted towards working individuals, who want to enhance their versatility.

Admission Procedure

Admission to this course is underway and classes will begin from the second week of December , 2011 . Please contact the centre for admission details.
