Two Faculty Development Workshops for 3 days on Embedded Systems with focus on Intel Atom Processor will be organised by Greater Noida Institute of Technology, Greater Noida from June 2-4 and June 5-7, 2014.
Faculty members of Electronics and communications, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications of all institutes/colleges affiliated to UPTU are cordially invited to join these workshops.
The objectives of the workshop are as follows:
- Basic concepts of the IA-32 architecture and the Intel Atom Processor
- Understand the specifics of the platform being offered as a part of Intel Embedded Lab
- Understand the tools available on the system
- Experiment with the peripherals available on the system
- Experiment with the embedded subsystem supplied along with the platform
- Develop an understanding of the Intel Innovation kit to teach and extend the platform as per the specific need.
These workshops are organised to update the knowledge of the faculties and thus would be very beneficial for the participating faculty. There is no registration fee. But each workshop will have 30 participants and the criteria for selection is on the basis of first come first serve.
