Exam Notification: Bharathiar University Coimbatore SET for Lectureship 2011

The State will hold the examination on Sunday 14th August , 2011 for determining the eligibility of Indian Nationals for recruitment of Lecturers in Universities and Colleges in Tamil Naduand Union Territory of Puducherry.

Eligibility Criteria: 

1) Only those candidates who have completed or are pursuing PG Degree are eligible to appear in SET.
2) Candidates who have secured 55 % marks in masters degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this test. The Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Physically challeneged / Visually Challenged candidates who have secured 50% marks in Master's degree examination are eligible for rhis examination.
3) Candidates have to appear for SET in the subject of their Post Graduation only.

Age Limit:

No upper age limit.

Examination Fee and Mode of Payment :

For General Candidate, the examination fee is Rs.1000/- , for other backward classes the fee is Rs.750/- and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/ Physically Challeneged/ Visually Challenged.

The fee should be paid in the form of a single crossed bank demand draft from any Nationalised Bank with six months validity drawn in favour of The Registrar, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore-641046 payable at Coimbatore. Fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
