Exam Alert: IGNOU's OPENMAT 2011

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will be conducting its entrance tests:  Open Management Admission Test (OPENMAT) - XXIX and Open Test for Dental programmes (OPENDEN – III) test on February 13, 2011.

OPENMAT is conducted for admission to the degree and diploma programmes in management which are:

1. Master of Business Administration (MBA)
2. Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management(PGDFM)
3. Diploma in Management (DIM)
4. Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM)
5. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM)
6. Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM)
7. Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM)

OPENDEN is conducted for admission to the following programme:

1.Post Graduate Certificate in Oral Implantology (PGCOI), Post Graduate Certificate in Endodontics (PGCE)

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants need to have completed their graduation in any discipline with 50% marks (general) or  45%  (reserved) with at least 3 years of supervisory/ managerial/ professional experience

Or

 Professional Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine/ Architecture/ Law/ Pharmacy

Or

 Professional Qualifications in Accountancy/ Cost and Works Accountancy/ Company Secretaryship etc.

Or

 Masters Degree in any subject

Candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance test for admission into Management Programme conducted by the institutions like CAT, MAT and State Level tests need not appear in OPENMAT. The cut off percentage for admission of these candidates will be decided by the university.

Non-graduates (10+2 or equivalent) with six years of Managerial/ supervisory/ professional experience are eligible for taking admission into Diploma in Management only after clearing the entrance test.

For Post Graduate Certificate in Oral Implantology (PGCOI), Post Graduate Certificate in Endodontics (PGCE)

Registered BDS Doctors after completion of internship.
The degree should be recognized by the Dental Council of India.

Entrance Exam Date (OPENMAT & OPENDEN): 13^th February 2011.
