The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Gandhinagar, Gujarat will conduct its annual Business Fest ‘Empresario’ providing a niche platform for entrepreneurs to exchange ideas, listen to expert discourses, pitch propositions and simulate an environment of business acumen.
Empresario has always been a unique platform for academicians, new-age entrepreneurs, eminent business personalities, venture capitalists and the students to gather at one place and share their entrepreneurial endeavours and experiences, and pledge to take entrepreneurship to greater scales.
Empresario 2014 saw 700 Patent Holder registrations of which 50 were shortlisted for a workshop in EDII. These patent holders were provided the opportunity to meet the Investors, Venture Capitalist, Bankers, Students and Faculty of EDII.
2015 Empresario promises to be equally promising & exciting. On the agenda in Empresario 2015 are seminars, workshops, a Start-up Fair, Marketing Challenge, Talk Show and a B-Plan Event.

Mr. Anurag Batra is a serial entrepreneur, media mogul, a journalist and an eternal optimist rolled into one. He is currently the Chairman of BW Magazine | Business world, a 35 year strong media brand as well as most respected business publication in India. He is the founder of Exchange4media group, PITCH, IMPACT, Franchisee Plus and Realty Plus.
The workshop being conducted is based on the theme ‘NEXT PRACTICES’ using CK Prahalad’s Innovation, it will be conducted by Commonwealth Asia Alliance for Young Entrepreneurs (CAAYE) a network of young entrepreneurs and the organizations that support them.

The eChai Marketing Challenge provides an opportunity to entrepreneurs, professionals and students to showcase their marketing skills by creating marketing campaigns for participating companies, compete for cash prizes, meet the community and develop skills, interact with other domain experts and get an eChai experience.
