Election Commission Camp at IMS Engineering College

An Election Commission camp will be organized at IMS Engineering College for Voter ID Registration for all the students of IMS Engineering College.

Students, who have completed 18 years of age as on 01/01/2014 and are residing in local area of Ghaziabad City, are hereby informed that the Election Commission will be organizing a camp on October 30, 2013
All eligible candidates are required to fill the form 60 at the time of registration.

According to one of our source to discuss the various issues facing by the students in various colleges at the time of issuing Voter Id Cards, a meeting was held on October 10, 2013 at the Office of District Magistrate, Ghaziabad.

It’s been noticed that students studying in various colleges at Ghaziabad face certain difficulties at the time of applying for Voter Id. It had been decided in the meeting that the students who fulfil the following eligibility criteria will be issued the Voters ID Cards by the District Administration.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Should have completed 18 years of age on 1.1.2014

• Required two passport sized photographs

• Age Proof/10th mark sheet

• Affidavit regarding residential proof

All principals/HOD’s/dean are requested to take this in high preference and give wide publicity among the students and get the enclosed form duly filled by the eligible candidates.

On October 25, 2013 officials from District Administration Office had visited various colleges to collect the forms and they will take further action to issue the Voter ID Cards to the concerned students.
