DU's 10th Cut-Off List Out, Admission Process Still Far from Being Closed

It looks like Delhi University (DU) is finding it hard to fill up seats as a number of colleges reopened admissions in the 10th cut-off list released on Monday night.

The admission process looks far from being closed despite a deadline assigned to colleges to fill up their seats by July 31, 2013.

Several courses have seats available in the general category while the reserved seats are still lying vacant.

As per the 9th cut off list, Commerce was being offered in seven colleges. Now, the number of colleges offering Commerce seats has gone up to 14 due to withdrawal of applications at some colleges.

Among the colleges where the course is available are Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, College of Vocational Studies, Rajdhani College and S.G.N.D Khalsa.

The reopening of Commerce admissions at SRCC for OBC and PWD candidates is the most surprising development in the 10th cut-off list.

Sri Venkateswara College has seats available in the Science courses – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Kirori Mal College has seats available in Physics and Mathematics along with English and Economics.

The admissions process for the tenth list will be conducted on July 30 and 31, 2013.

The new academic session of Delhi University started from July 24, 2013.
