DU-Jamia Joint Course Admission Form from today!

The admission process for Delhi University and Jamia Millia Islamia’s meta university concept course Master of Mathematics Education will begin from May 20, officials announced on Friday.
 

 

 

The two-year joint degree programme combines courses in mathematics, communications and education and aims to produce innovative teachers who use methods such as story-telling and participative learning to teach math at school level. The programme includes interesting courses such as “Discretising and Understanding Real Life Situations Through a Mathematical Lens” and “Does Nature Play Dice?: The Amazing World of Probability and Statistics.”

 

Admission to the programme, which has only 20 seats, will be through an entrance test on June 16. Forms will be available from May 20 at Cluster Innovation Centre, University of Delhi or at the DU, Jamia and CIC websites.

Applicants must have passed at least two full-fledged mathematics papers during their undergraduate degree study to be eligible to apply for the course.
