The University of Delhi is a public central university located in Delhi, India. It is wholly funded by the Government of India. Established in 1922, it offers courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Admission to DU is based on 10+2 aggregate marks, not less than 50% for honours courses.
This year DU has introduced four year undergraduate programme. The introduction of the four year undergraduate programmes (FYUP) does not seem to have hampered the popularity of DU. In fact, with the wide variety of B. Tech courses on offer now, a lot of engineering aspirants are now flocking to DU. The class 12 board exam scores have also been much higher this year which may cause the cut offs to soar higher.
