The college fests in the Delhi University are an important part of the relationship that the students share with their college. In fact, the amount of association that a student tends to develop with his/her college depends on a number of academic and non-academic factors and the annual fests of the DU colleges mark that relationship with the most unforgettable memories. These fests are considered an integral part of every DU student’s life and to the extent that the colleges are even compared on the basis of their fests by the students.
The fests happen during the months of January, February and March for a period of 2-3 days every year and in almost every college. The atmosphere of the college becomes lively and gets enriched by the energy, enthusiasm and passion of the youth. The College authorities also make sure that they don’t disappoint the crowd.

Crossroads, SRCC: The college knows the art of mastery in every field, and that’s why they probably have the one of the best and popular fests in the University. Usually organized for a period of 3-4 days, it has seen the greatest Bands, Singers and Dancers performing. Fashion Shows, Pop Nite and War of the DJ’s are a routine here.
Mecca, Hindu: This fest is a delight to watch. Mecca acts as a choir of various musical events, ranging from sufi to pop and rock-n-roll, literary events, fashion shows, etc. to name a few. The only problem it faces is the huge number of crowd, so it is advisable to reach the venue as early as possible.
Tempest, Miranda House: Much awaited event not for the college but also for the University. It is well known for creative ideas and the collaborations. So, make sure to visit the event and participate.
Montage, JMC: It is known as the best-organized fest of the University. It has seen the likes of DJ Shival and a popular band Nasha performing.
Tarang, LSR: The fest is known for bringing the best student talent from the country in every field like music, dance, debate, quiz etc. A food festival is also incorporated to make it a grand affair.
Harmony, St Stephen’s: The fest is considered to be a carnival by the students. It has events like Face Painting, Tug of War, Battle of Bands, Wall Climbing, Food Tasting Competition etc.
Nexus, Sri Venkateshwara (Venky): It generates a lot of curiosity among the students. It has seen the music duo of Vishal- Shekhar performing their popular numbers in the past.
