Delhi University (DU) had invited applications for admission to its 70 colleges to fill up nearly 54000 undergraduate seats available across all DU colleges.
The DU online registrations began on May 28, 2015 whereas the offline applications were made available to aspirants on June 5, 2015. The registrations ended on June 15, 2015 and the first DU Cut-Off will be announced on June 25, 2015.
As per sources, nearly 2, 17,891 applications have been received and out of this number 1, 26,855 applicants have already paid the fee for admissions. Out of this, nearly 55,406 have applied under the general category, around 26,527 under OBC, SC and ST categories while 172 have registered themselves under the persons with disabilities category.
For some courses such as BMS, BFIA, B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing, B.Pharma, B.A.(Hons) Business Economics etc, DU will conduct an entrance exam and the students have to fill separate admission form.
The admission for these courses will have entrance exams which will follow a completely different code of conduct. Students will have to fill the form issued by the college offering the course and appear for the desired entrance test.
