DU Admission Criteria for B.Tech

DU Admission Criteria for B.Tech 2022 has been formulated by the University of Delhi for the session 2022-2022. The registration for the admission in B.Tech programme will begin online from May 31, 2022. Candidates seeking B.Tech admission in the undergraduate programmes offered by the University of Delhi should check DU eligibility criteria for B.Tech.

Candidates need to fill the common admission test form for B.Tech in Delhi University. Candidates and guardians must go through the DU Admission Criteria for B.Tech 2022 approved by Delhi University before applying. The application form to get admission in DU B.Tech course will be provided through online mode on the DU official website. The candidates will be selected on the basis of their JEE Main score.

DU B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2022

• As per DU Admission Criteria for B.Tech 2022, candidates who have passed their 10+2 level from a recognised board are eligible for this course. The minimum aggregate marks requirement is as below (category wise):

                                General Category: 60 % in four subjects (including Mathematics)
                                OBC category: 54% in four subjects (including Mathematics)
                                PH category: 55% in four subjects (including Mathematics)
                                SC/ST category: Passing marks with Mathematics as one the subjects

• Candidate should have passed the JEE Main 2022
• Candidate should have studied and passed in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at HSC level
• Candidate should be minimum of 17 years
• Candidates appearing is class 12 or awaiting their class 12th result can also apply

• Candidates must visit the official website of DU (http://www.du.ac.in/).
• Click on the link “Link to Admission Portal 2022”.
• Fill the details in the “New User Signup” and click on the register button.
• A verification link will be sent to your registered Email ID. Click on that link to confirm your DU Online registration.
• Candidates have to log in again to fill the application form. Click on the “Apply Now” button.
• Fill your personal details such as address, academic details, course selection, sports, ECA, etc. to complete the registration.
• Candidates have to upload the scanned documents in the given format. After uploading the scanned images, candidates should click on the “submit” button. Candidates must preview their entire application form before making the payment.
• After successful registration, candidates can submit the fee through online payment mode.
• Click on the “Click to Make Payment” button.
• For future use, candidates must take the printout of the DU Admission Form 2022.

• Scanned Photograph & Signature (maximum size: 50KB).
• Identity Proof (maximum size: 50 KB).
• Class 10th Board Certificate (For DOB) (maximum size: 100KB).
• Class 12th Marks-sheet, if result declared.
• Caste Certificate (If applicable) (maximum size: 100KB).
• Income Certificate (for OBC-NCL) (If applicable).
• Sports Certificate(s) for last three years (If applicable).
