It’s the time of admissions in Delhi. Delhi Campuses buzzing with activity, young restless students waiting in lines to give direction to their future. Minds alight with questions and doubts. 
 
 

 

For the same purpose, a few questions that are bothering students, are answered here. Read through to get a better picture.
 
What is the process for admissions under the Sports and ECA category? 
- Colleges will come out with ECA and Sports category forms in the second week of June, for which 5% seats are reserved. Colleges will hold individual trials to be judged by a committee of experts. All students who want to apply under this category will have to apply in colleges separately. There is no centralized registration or trials.
 
What is the process for admission to Bachelors in Management Studies?
- There will be an entrance test. The registrations begin on May 21 and will go on till June 10. The test will be conducted on June 26.
 
Will students who have not studied math be eligible for BA in Commerce?
- DU has removed the mathematics eligibility for students from the reserved categories. The decision for students from the general category has still not been taken. The picture should get clear in the coming week. 
 
Since psychology honours will be called B.Tech in Psychological Science, will students have to have a science background to take admission?
- No, students from science, humanities or commerce backgrounds will be free to opt for the course. The new course is an amalgamation of the psychology honours and the applied psychology course offered earlier by DU.
