Lord Mahavira Homoeopathic Medical College, Ludhiana organized an awareness seminar on the topic “Drug de-Addiction” on July 11, 2015.
The event was organized with the help of Ludhiana Citizen Health Council. Seminar started at 10 am. All staff members and students actively attended the seminar.
Lord Mahavira Homoeopathic Medical College was established under the auspicious of Lord Mahavira Foundation (Regd.) Punjab.
The college offers Bachelor degree course in the field of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS). BHMS stands for Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery. It is a 5 1/2 year course including internship. The minimum eligibility for the course is Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent level examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. The course consists of subjects like Anatomy, Physiology including Bio-chemistry, Pharmacy,Surgery ,Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Homoeopathic Materia Medica, Organon of Medicine etc.
