The results of the 1st ever online online examination (Udaan) conducted by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) were published wrong on the Air Safety Regulator's website. According to it, less than 4% of the candidates have cleared a part of the exam, whioch comes across as unreliable.

Out of 4,000 candidates, around 900 sat for the Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or Commander's License while the rest mostly appeared for Commercial Pilot License or Co-Pilots.

According to the results, none of the 4,000 aspirants can be given a license. However, the results depicts that 175 candidates got through only one subject - Air Navigation.

This was apparently due to some software glitch. The results were uploaded on the website without being reviewed first. The exam was set by the NIC(National Informatics Centre).
