Delhi University B.Ed Admission Eligibility Criteria

• All those candidates who have passed the Bachelors Degree in relevant discipline from a recognised university can apply.
• Candidates applying for Delhi University B.Ed Admission should have at least 50-percent marks in either bachelor’s degree or in master’s degree science/social science/humanities or should have at least 55-percent marks in bachelor of engineering and technology or any other qualification equivalent to it.
• The candidates who belong to the reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC/(C/WAP)/VD/OVD will get a 5-percent concession in marks in minimum eligibility requirements.

Delhi University B.Ed Admission Form

Delhi University offers many UG, PG as well as other educational courses like B.Ed/M.Ed. For Delhi University B.Ed admission, the eligible candidates must clear an entrance exam at the starting of each session. Delhi University B.Ed Syllabus

Delhi University B.Ed Entrance Question paper has four sections:

Section A: General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude

This section will contain questions that would test candidates’ general knowledge and awareness of social, political, environmental, and economic issues. The section will also contain questions to examine the perspective and analysis of situations and responses to teaching-learning situations.

Section B: Reasoning

This section will assess the Mathematical, logical, and verbal reasoning abilities. It will assess the candidate’s ability to analyse and interpret data and find solutions to problematic situations.

Section C: Subject Knowledge up to class X

This section will contain questions based on understanding and application of concepts in Science, Social Science and Mathematics up to secondary level.

Section D: Language Proficiency

This section will assess comprehension in both English and Hindi.

Application Fee for Delhi University B. Ed Admission

• General and OBC category INR 500/-
• For SC/ST/PH category candidates INR 250/-
• Candidates can pay their application fee by using their Debit card/Credit card/Net banking.
• Applicants should remember that this fee will be totally non-refundable.

Delhi University B. Ed Admission Cut-off

The Delhi University B. Ed Admission cut-off will be based on the performance of all candidates in the entrance test. On attaining the cut-off marks, qualifying students will be called for the counselling session. Call for counselling does not guarantee admission in B.Ed. For admission, candidate’s documents and certificates in support of the admission form will be scrutinised. After document verification, the candidate will be interviewed. Only on the successful completion of all parameters, admission will be guaranteed into a B.Ed college affiliated to Delhi University.
