Delhi University 1st Cut-Off List 2012 on 26 June, Admissions to Begin on Same Day

The Delhi University (DU) admissions are all set to begin tomorrow, 26th June 2012, with the announcement of the 1st cut-offs list by the university.

The number of applications received by the Delhi University in 2012 has crossed 1.4 lakh.

This year, admissions will begin on the same day as the cut-offs are released & will continue only for 3 days (26th – 28th June 2012). The 1st list of admissions for SC/ST and PwD (Persons with Disabilities) categories will be released on 26th June 2012.

If you meet the required cut-off for a particular course after the release of the cut-off list, you should report to that college with your relevant documents to gain admission there.

On arrival at the campus for admissions, students should have the following documents with them:

• a copy of their OMR forms or the online registration numbers
• Class X and Class XII marksheets and certificates
• character certificate
• transfer certificate/migration certificate
• two passport-size photographs
• for reserved category admissions, certificates attesting to the same should be submitted
• money for the admission fee

Admission fee for the course will have to paid on the same day. “Students can check college websites to know what is required during admissions. If touts approach them, police should be contacted,” said Dr J M Khurana, Dean of Students’ Welfare at DU.
