Department of Environmental Engineering, Delhi Technological University, in collaboration with Nanyang Technological University, Singapore will conduct a short term course in August 2013.
Short term course is divided into 3 time periods start from August 12-17, August 26-30 and September 16-20, 2013.

Water crisis is a situation when there is no availability of good water or available water is less than the demand. This crisis is not just the demand and supply curve but is also about mismanagement of water resources disturbance in the demand.
The main objective of the project is to build capacity of professionals and workers involved in water sector to address issues related to the water sector by promoting appropriate and cost-effective water treatment, rainwater harvesting and groundwater recharge technologies. The course will also include demonstration of water testing Kits and field visit for water treatment plant site at 220 MLD WTP at Haiderpur, Delhi.
The programme is open to post graduate students, faculty and practicing engineers from water related Government organizations (only) of Delhi.
Lectures & tutorials will be delivered by experienced faculty members from NTU, Singapore, Environmental Engineering Department DTU and experts from Water related Govt. Departments and Universities.
