Delhi School of Economics Invites Applications for MA Economics Programme

Those who are looking for career avenues in the field of economics can now apply for the master’s degree program in the same under Delhi School of Economics. The Delhi University invites applications from the candidates for admission in its two years MA Economics degree programme for the academic session commencing in 2022.

Eligibility criteria

Graduation in any stream from a recognized university is the minimum educational qualification to apply for two-year MA Economics degree program and a minimum applicable pass percentage remains 60 percent. Foreign candidates can also apply for the same by taking the entrance exam or by simply submitting their GRE score.

Paper pattern and selection process 

To select the candidates for admission in MA Economics under Delhi School of Economics, an entrance exam will be held. The minimum pass marks to take admission is 40 percent and 50 percent of the seats are reserved for the direct admission of candidates who have passed BA Economics from Delhi University

The entrance will be conducted to check the knowledge of candidates in the basic areas of economics that include:

• Macroeconomic theory
• Microeconomic theory
• Probability, statistics, and elementary econometrics 
• Mathematical techniques used by economists
