Atharva, organised by Delhi School of Economics is designed to take place as a two phase process. In the preliminary round we will invite articles in order to shortlist a maximum of 25 teams.

Rules and Regulations

Preliminary Round (online)

In this stage teams need to register, where they will be competing for a week’s time. The selection of the top teams must be made on the basis of the portfolio value on the last day. To be eligible to win a candidate has to trade at least in 5 Stocks and make 10 transactions during the week.

Each team should consist of two members.
Each member in the team must be from the same institute.
A member from each team will participate in each of the two committees; WTO and IPCC
The articles for the preliminary round should be around 800-1000 words.

The teams shall send their write-ups on either of the following topics for the first round:

  1. The tiger v/s the dragon
  2. Socio-political and economic situation: oil and energy resources


Guidelines

The write up should be mailed in the pdf format in the following format:

Atharva_MUN ( Topic 1 or 2)_College-Name

Along with the articles, teams are required to submit five country preferences from the enclosed country matrix for country allotments in the second round. Failure to abide by guidelines will result in disqualification.

Registration: 21st January – 25th January, 2012
Deadline for 1st Round: 26th January, 2012
Results of 1st Round : 28th January, 2012
Allotment of Country for Final Round: 28th January, 2012

NIVESH 2012

Rules and Regulations of NIVESH

  1. Each team must have 2 participants
  2. Each participant must be from same institute
  3. Each participant can be part of only 1 team
  4. Students pursuing graduation or post graduation are eligible for this event
  5. It is mandatory for each team to register for the event
  6. Terms and Conditions of participation are subject to change at any time without specific notice. The amended Terms and Conditions of entry will be effective immediately upon being posted on the website.

It is the sole responsibility of the teams to regularly visit the website to read any changes.

Final Round (at Campus)
Top 25 teams will be shortlisted for the final round. Top 20 teams will be shortlisted for Final Round which will be held on campus.

Trading timelin : 24th January – 3st  January, 2012
Declaration of results: 31st January, 2012
Final Round (On Campus): 4th February, 2012

Spark-IB Quiz

Rules and Regulations

  1. Each team must have 2 participants
  2. Each participant must be from same institute.

Preliminary Round (Online)

A quiz pdf will be mailed to registered teams at 22:00 hrs on 26th January.
Quiz will be of 1 hour starting at 22:00 hrs.  
Result will be out on 27th Jan.
In case of a tie the team with minimum no. of wrong answers would go through.

Final Round (at Campus)

  1. Top 10 teams will be selected and called for final round
  2. It will comprise of extensive rounds put across by a Quiz master
