Deadline to register for 30th National Conference at NIT, Srinagar is August 20, 2013

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Srinagar will organize 30th National Convention-cum-Conference of the Society for Information Science (SIS) on “Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Use of Information as a Tool “to be held on September 27-30, 2013.

Institutes invites research papers from interested candidates to be send latest by August 30, 2013. Papers can be submitted only through email to: nit_sis13@nitsri.net

The Conference seeks to provide Information professionals be they in academia, industry or in Engineering or S&T institutions, a platform with a wide scope to discuss cognate, yet related, topics like using Information analytic tools for driving Entrepreneurship and Innovation, thereby leading to a creative ambience.

Conference Fee

• SIS Member : Rs. 4000

• Working Professionals : Rs. 5000; Students,

• Accompanying Persons : Rs. 3000

• Retired and Unemployed Library and Information professionals: Rs. 500

The DD/ cheque should be drawn in favour of SIS-2013 and Payable at J & K Bank, REC Branch, Srinagar “JAKA-0-RECSGR, MICR(CODE) 190051054”.

This event is open to all Science, technology and research professionals and academicians, information professionals from academia, IT professionals, publishers, authors, teachers, students and all users of libraries and information centres, content and knowledge managers, policy makers, information providers and vendors, e-publishers and virtual electronic communities & others.
