About DDA:

DDA refers to Delhi Development Authority. DDA came into existence in 1955 under the provisions of the Delhi Development Act to promote and secure the development of Delhi. However, the DDA Master Plan was formed in 1962 to ensure an organised and structured development of haphazard growth of Delhi. This included recognising of new land that can be developed into residential properties and make self-contained colonies by providing ample commercial office and retail complexes as well. The DDA Master plan was revised in 1982 to formulate the Master Plan 2001 and then re-revised in 2007 to form the Delhi Master Plan 2021. It lays down the basic infrastructure requirements for a city estimated to have a population of 128 Lakhs.

DDA is recruiting engineers through their GATE 2022 scores. GATE qualified candidates can apply for DDA Recruitment after GATE 2022 results.

The online application forms will be made available on the official website from April 2022. The candidates will be selected based on their GATE score and personal interview conducted by DDA.

Education Qualification:

• Applicants must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical/Civil/Instrumentation/Computer Science Engineering/Electronics from a recognised University/Institute/College.
• The candidate should have secures at least 60% aggregate marks without any pending backlogs.

Age Limit:

• The candidate belonging to the general category should be 28 years of age (not more than 28). The candidates belonging to reserved category namely SC/ST are provided relaxation of 5 years while the candidates belonging to OBC category are provided relaxation of 3 years.
• The age limit will be calculated as on January 01, 2022.

A score of candidates in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 will be a determining factor in the selection. The graduate engineers who are interested in taking up a career in DDA need to appear for GATE 2022 in relevant disciplines.

Based on the GATE score, candidates will then be qualified for the next selection round consisting of a personal interview to assess a candidates’ understanding of different facets, skills and attitude. Candidates have to first successfully pass the GATE-2022 examination and after that the PI to make it to the selection. Merit list will be prepared based on GATE score, PI scores, and will as per each discipline.

GATE Selection Procedure for DDA Recruitment:

The selected candidates, based on the GATE score 2022 will have to appear for the personal interview round. The final selection will be based on merit list prepared by the relative performance of candidates in personal interview round. The shortlisted candidates will be undergoing training process and after the successful completion of training period, they will be appointed as a permanent employee.

Salary Structure:

The proposed salary for a permanent employee is INR 34, 800- 42,000. Apart from the basic pay, the employees will get house allowances, medical facility, PA etc. as per company’s rules.

Job Profile:

The aspirants are shortlisted for the post of ‘Management Trainee’. Once the candidate completes the probationary period, they would be confirmed as ‘Executive’ in the respective business unit/entity.

Candidates can be posted across the country, in any of the businesses/locations or offices including joint ventures & subsidiary companies of DDA currently in existence and establishments that may be set up in future besides roles on deputation to other organisations.
