DASA Invites Application for Admission to Engineering Colleges in India for Foreign Nationals

About DASA:
Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) is the online portal for the admissions of Foreign Nationals / Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) / Non-Resident Indians (NRIs). The Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) Scheme for the Academic Year 2013-14 allows a student to take admission to undergraduate courses in Engineering in National Institutes of Technology (NITs), IIITs and other premier Technical Institutions in India.

Eligibility to apply to engineering colleges through DASA:

• SAT II (SAT Subject Test) scores (Physics, Chemistry, Maths level II) will be used only for merit list.
• Valid SAT II scores, till May 2013 exam should reach NITK Surathkal electronically through College Board USA, using DI Code 6530 on or before 29th May 2013.

• Submission of Online application: 1st April-25th May 2013
• Last date for receipt of SAT Subject Test Score /hard copy of the completed application: 29th May 2013
• Announcement of first list of selected candidates: 1st June 2013
• Confirmation by first list candidates:1st-7th June 2013
• Announcement of second list: 8thJune 2013
• Confirmation by second list candidates: 8th-14th June 2013
• Announcement of third list: 15th June 2013
• Confirmation by third list candidates: 15th-18th June 2013
• Reporting to allotted Institutes: 18th-23rd July 2013
