Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) University is creating future professionals for the nation. The university was commenced in the year 1980 by an inspired group of maven and famous industrialists of Andhra Pradesh by Dr.M.V.V.S.Murthi, Former Member of Parliament and popular philanthropist. GITAM is a deemed university under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. The university is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade. GITAM University has three well-designed campuses. The main campus of the college is placed in Visakhapatnam & the two off campuses at Hyderabad and Bangalore.
