The syllabus for the Delhi University BA Admission test is based on the academic syllabus of class 11th and 12th. However, it is recommended that candidates appearing for the BA entrance test may check the official syllabus when the notification will be released by the university. Delhi University BA Admission 2022 - Eligibility Criteria

It is obvious that you need to meet the eligibility criteria of Delhi University BA Admission for applying into the course. The Delhi University has directed affiliated colleges to follow a uniform eligibility criterion for 2022 admissions in various undergraduate courses, including BA. • As per the uniform eligibility criteria for Delhi University BA Admission 2022, candidates seeking admissions in language courses in the varsity colleges will have an advantage of 2.5-percent in the best of four subjects’ aggregate, if they have studied the particular language as an elective subject in HSC or equivalent exam. But there will be a disadvantage of 2.5-percent in the best of four subjects’ aggregate, in case they have studied the particular language as a functional subject.
• The elective subjects of the CBSE curriculum are regarded as Honours programmes by the central university and will be considered as academic subjects for ‘Best of four’ calculation, without any disadvantage.
• However, Physical Education, Home Science and Music in Class 12th will be considered in ‘Best of Four’ calculation as the academic subjects or elective subjects for only those candidates who are seeking admissions in these three courses in the DU 2022 Colleges.
• Candidates qualifying 10+2 (12th Board Examination) with two or three vocational courses may be considered eligible for the Delhi University BA Admission 2022.
• Candidates need to have studied Hindi and English subjects mandatorily for seeking admissions in English (Hons.) and Hindi (Hons.) programmes, respectively. Apart from these two subjects, candidates will be granted admissions in any of the language programmes, with a disadvantage of 5-percent in the best of four cut off marks, if the language is studied till Class 10^th.
• For admissions in BA Programme and B.Com programme, if there is a case of a change in the stream, for instance, if a student from a commerce background is interested in admissions to Arts programme or vice-a-versa, there shall be a disadvantage of 5-percent in the best of four subjects calculation.
• Legal Studies subject will be treated at par with academic/elective subjects for the purpose of admissions to BA (H) Political Science programme only.
• Mass Media Studies subject will be treated at par with academic/elective subjects for the purpose of admissions to BA (H) Journalism (English/Hindi) programmes.

Delhi University BA Admission 2022 - Fee

An application fee of Rs. 100 has to be paid by candidates belonging to General and OBC categories, whereas a sum of Rs. 50 is to be paid by SC/ST/PwD category candidates for Delhi University BA Admission 2022. The application form fee for DU 2022 admissions needs to be paid in online mode only using Debit Cards/Credit Card/Net Banking/Paytm application.

Delhi University first cut-off list 2022 will be out on June 24 and decide future of many candidates who have applied for admission at DU. The Delhi University BA Admission programme cut-off marks are generally based on the class 12th marks of the school boards. • The application form for Delhi University BA Admission will be available only through both online and offline modes.
• After the submission of fee, no changes will be allowed in the form. You will have to fill in a fresh Delhi University BA Admission form with new ID and password and submit fee again.
• The application fee can be submitted only through online payment mode.
• Once scanned images uploaded cannot be changed.
• There is no need to send a hardcopy of the application form anywhere, if required you will be notified.
• In case mark sheet is not issued by the board, then candidates can download their mark sheets from the respective boards’ website & upload it for the Delhi University BA Admission.
