It is their immense pride to announce that Team Code Blue from Manav Rachna College of Engineering (MRCE) has been selected for final round of App for Office Challenge and will now fly to Seattle in July.
Apps for office is a platform for developers to create cloud-hosted web apps that work inside Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint. These apps work seamlessly within the installed, desktop versions of Office 2013 and in the Office 365 cloud apps, adding new features, tools, and content to the software used by millions worldwide.
The team consists of:
- Saurabh Kanwar- IT 6th Semester, MRCE
- Ankur Bhalla- IT 6th Semester, MRCE
- Jehi Jha – CSE 4th Semester, MRCE
- Neha Valecha – CSE 4th Semester, MRCE
From five shortlisted teams across the world, two world finalist teams have been selected and now will fly for their destination. These teams will meet the Microsoft Office experts they’ve been working with and compete on stage for first and second-place prizes of $5,000 and $3,000 – and of course, the app will be published in the Apps for Office Store.
