In light of the queries that have been frequently raised on the pattern of the CLAT Examination Paper for the Under Graduate Programme, the organizing university - WB National University of Judicial Sciences has issued the following clarification.

English including Comprehension

It shall comprise of one integrated English section which shall include reading-comprehension passages and questions on grammar.

General Knowledge/Current Affairs

The questions will be related to matters in news between May 2010 and May 2011. This may include, for example, a question on the history of the Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi Dispute as the dispute has been in news during the specified timeframe.

Mathematics

This section will test candidates only on mathematics that is taught till the class 10. However, this section shall not include questions on:
1. Visual mathematics and geometry
2. Trigonometry

Logical Reasoning

This section shall include a wide variety of questions such as

1) syllogisms
2) quantitative reasoning
3) identifying patterns, sequences and puzzles
4) analogies

However, visual reasoning will not be tested.
