The results for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2015, which is held for admission to under-graduate and post-graduate degree programmes (LLB and LLM) offered at 16 National Law Universities, have been announced.

CLAT 2015 was conducted by Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University (RMLNLU).

"Among top the 2,000 candidates selected for the undergraduate course, 1,181 are men and 819 are female. There are 2,204 UG seats and 514 PG seats in 16 National Law Universities," said Gurdeep Singh, vice-chancellor of the Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, while announcing the CLAT results.

CLAT is conducted every year on a rotational basis by the 16 NLUs.

The selected candidates can opt for the universities of their choice with their rank by May 21. The authorities will process the applications and will put out the first list on May 31.

There was a steep jump in the number of candidates appearing in the CLAT exam this year as compared to the last year. In 2014, 29,268 had appeared for the UG course and 2,024 had appeared for PG course.
