CG PET 2016 Schedule Announced

Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chhattisgarh. This year, it is expected to be held in the first week of May 2022.

The CG PET exam is conducted for shortlisting candidates for admission to undergraduate engineering courses in the various colleges in the state of Chhattisgarh. The registrations for the same are likely to start from March onwards.

The aspirants of CG PET should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and a minimum of 45% in aggregate to be eligible for CG PET 2022. A relaxation of 5 % is allowed to candidates belonging to reserved categories. The minimum and maximum age of candidates should be 17 on or before 31^st December 2022 and 30 years on or before 1^st July 2022 respectively. Candidates seeking admissions under Chhattisgarh state quota need to provide the domicile certificate of the state.

The CG PET exam will be conducted in a format that contains multiple choice questions with a total of 150 questions. Negative marking will be done for every wrong answer. The students will be tested based on their knowledge in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry of the 10+2 level.
