Celebration of Golden Jubilee Valedictory at NIT, Kurukshetra

National Institute of Technology is celebrating Golden Jubilee Valedictory started from October 2. The Director of IIT Roorkee is invited as Chief Guest to join this event. It will be continuing till today.

Valedictory function has started today from 11.30 am at Jubilee Hall of NIT, Kurukshetra. Golden Jubilee season at NIT had been started from August 15 to September 14, 2013.

Apart from this Institute had witnessed a huge gathering on the auspicious occasion of the convocation on April 9, where honourable President of India had marked his presence. In his inaugural speech Mr. Pranab Mukharjee wished for bright future of the Institute.

National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra is a public technical university wholly funded by Government of India. In December 2008, it was accredited with the status of Institution of National Importance (INI). It is one of the twenty National Institutes of Technology established and administered by Government of India. It runs undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy programme in Engineering.

Admission to NIT is strictly based on JEE all India rank. Minimum eligibility required is passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology.
