24th Gyandiksha Ceremony was successfully celebrated at Mrityunjaya Auditorium, Dev Sanskriti University on January 11, 2014.

On this occasion, Chancellor Dr.Pranav Pandya gave a warm welcome to all new comers with his precious thoughts and guidance towards their bright future.

Environmentalist Dr. Anil Joshi had consented to be the Chief Guest and in his speech said that such ceremonies are a step towards sowing seeds of knowledge & morals into depths of each student’s life.

Dr. Joshi again said that as human being we always misuse nature’s gift to us which is in return a big harm to us. Our ignorance leads to hazardous natural disasters. In coming year’s situation will only get worse if we don’t realize the flaws and start the rescue process for our environment. Necessity is the mother of invention but Dr. Joshi said that in present scenario necessity is the creator of disasters.

On this occasion Dr. Pandya said that today people are lacking the feeling of togetherness and self dependency. He stressed on the importance of villages and the small industries that provide us with all the basic amenities we require for life. Due to lack of facilities & job opportunities villagers are moving towards towns which for our future is not really a good sign. In future humans will not have the basic food & water for their existence if this continues. He believes that our ancestors belonged to villages and this will be our strength to move ahead on this mission to get India back to its natural phase.
