CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2016

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has invited eligible girls who have pass Class 10 examinations in the year 2022 from a CBSE affiliated school. Candidates who are qualified for the scholarship can fill in the online application that is available on the official website of CBSE.

Eligibility Criteria

• All Single Girl students who have secured a minimum of 6.2 CGPA/ 60% marks in Class 10th examination and who are pursuing  Class 11th and 12th from a CBSE affiliated school can apply for this scholarship
• The tuition fees of candidates applying for this scholarship should not be more than INR 1500 p.m.

Candidates who wish to apply for the scholarship can follow these steps-

• Before starting the process carefully read the instruction mentioned in the Scholarship prospectus available at http://cbse.nic.in/Scholarship/Webpages/Guidelines%20for%20SGCX%20(Fresh%20&%20Renewal)_2022.pdf
• Click on the 'Apply Online' link available in front of the Single Girl Child Scholarship Scheme
• Once you enter the Scholarship click on SGC-X-Fresh Application/ SGC-X-Renewal, whatever is applicable
• Enter your roll number and your certificate number and then click on proceed

Important Dates

• Last Date for submission of Online Application: December 15, 2022
• Last Date for submission of hard copy of the Application: on or before December 31, 2022

About Single Girl Child Scholarship

The Central Board of Secondary Education offers the Single Girl Child Scholarship to eligible candidates to support and encourage meritorious girl students who are the only child of their parents.
This scholarship can be awarded to any candidate for a maximum period of two years only.
