CBSE Class 12 Results Announced: Delhi Girl M Gayatri Tops with 99.2%

The much awaited results of CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2015, for which 10.29 lakh students had appeared, were finally announced at around 12 noon today, 25th May, 2015.

Delhi girl M Gayatri has topped the CBSE 12th Board Exams 2015 by scoring 99.2%. A student of New Green Field School, Saket, Delhi, M Gayatri has emerged as all-India topper by scoring 496 marks out of 500.

Maithli Mishra, a student of Amity International, Noida has bagged the second position by scoring 495 marks out of 500. She has the second highest percentage – 99%.

Once again, girls have outperformed boys in the overall pass percentage. While a total of 87.57% girls passed the CBSE Class 12th Board Exams 2015, only 77.77% of the boys could manage to clear the exams.

This year, a total of 10,29,874 candidates took the CBSE Class 12 Examination 2015. Out of this, the total number of boys are 6,03,064 and the total number of girls are 4,26,810.

There has been an increase of 9.32 % in the total number of students that appeared for the examination as compared to last year.
