CAT 2016 Toppers List

IIM Bangalore declared the results of CAT 2022 exam on January 9, 2022 and released the scorecards right after the announcement of results. Soon after the results were released, the toppers list came out. Reportedly, twenty candidates have scored overall 100 percentile. All the twenty toppers are male candidates belonging to engineering background. Last year, in the CAT 2015 results, eighteen candidates had scored 100 percentile, out of which seventeen were males with an engineering background and one female. However, in sectionals many non-engineering and female candidates have scored 100 percentile.

Among the 20 toppers who scored 100 percentile, Kolkata-based BITS-Pilani student Avidipto Chakraborty scored 96.27 in verbal ability and reading comprehension, 68.16 in data interpretation and logical reasoning and 77.25 in quantitative ability. Meanwhile, Pune Based Yash Choudhari, who is currently a fourth year B.Tech student from College of Engineering has scored 86.15 in verbal ability and reading comprehension, 60.44 in data interpretation and logical reasoning and 73.50 in quantitative ability. More names are yet to emerge; candidates will be notified as and when the complete list is out!

Avidipto Chakraborty

Kolkata-based final year student of BITS Pilani, this is Avidipto's first attempt at CAT 2022. He has also appeared for GMAT and IIFT examination.

Pune-based Yash is a final year B.Tech student at College of Engineering, Pune. This is his first attempt at CAT 2022.

Akshay Mehndiratta

 Akshay is a pass out from IIT Delhi with specialisation in Chemical Engineering. He is currently working with EXL Analytics, this is his second attempt at CAT 2022. His first attempt was in 2022 where he scored 99.34 percentile. He pursued coaching at Career Launcher.
