CAT Exam Centres 2022 – The list of CAT test cities 2022 will be made available along with the release of CAT 2022 notification. The CAT 2022 exam centres list will be available on the official website of IIM CAT. Last year, the exam was held at 138 cities, where around 650 CAT test centres were established to accommodate 2,32,434 exam takers. CAT 2022 is also expected to be held across same number of cities, however, modification can be made to it depending on the CAT registration 2022 count.

This year, IIM Lucknow has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting Common Admission Test 2022. CAT is a national level exam which is conducted across major cities of the country. Every year, lakhs of management aspirants register for CAT and to accommodate these candidates, various CAT test centres are set up in each city.

While filling the CAT application form 2022, the applicants are required to fill 4 CAT test cities in the application form in order of preference, from where they would like to appear for the test. Usually the students are allotted the CAT exam centre as per the preference filled by them but if circumstances arise when it is impossible to accommodate the candidates, they are allotted the centre closest to their preferred choice.

The online registration for CAT 2022 is expected to commence from 1^st week of August 2022. However, the process of allocation of CAT test cities and exam centre will begin only after the conclusion of CAT registration, which will most probably be in last week of September 2022. The name and the complete details of the allotted CAT 2022 examination centre will be provided on the CAT 2022 admit card.

• The allotted CAT 2022 test centre will not be changed under any circumstances nor will any request regarding the same be entertained by IIM Lucknow.
• Last year, special efforts were made to allot nearest CAT test center to the female candidates and the same initiative is expected to be taken this year too.
• The exam conducting IIM holds the right to change the venue of the test center or also cancel the same, as it deems fit due to administrative or any other reason.
• CAT 2022 exam takers must reach the exam centre a few minutes early from the reported time.
