Campus Induction, a joint venture, instituted in August 2013 and evidently a budding company that has started to gather potential under the supervision of its 4 founders Vishal Kejriwal, Raman Singh, Shubhaw Kumar and Rohit Kumar Sharma, all of whom are a part of the young brigade pursuing engineering from KIIT University, Bhubaneswar.

Adducing from its name the foundation of Campus Induction lies upon the concept of inducing a change in the personality of the college-students who will be facing the corporate world as entrepreneurs or company officials in a span of a few years. The objective of the venture encircles fostering knowledge enhancement, instilling more confidence into the students, opening windows of opportunities, engendering professionalism and encouraging them to stretch their potentials.

The Campus Induction functions as an event planner and/or as an educational consultant as and when required with the provision of a platform to fulfil the objectives (listed above) as the crux.

The Campus Induction team has managed to attain some event management experience in a short extent of 4 months. Enlisting the events successfully pulled off by the team, they began with a Group Discussion Contest. The contest was sponsored by e-Sparsha and preceded by 3 practice sessions. Next addition was the Talk event on 'The image of politics in Youth' at which varied corners of the topic were touched through intriguing debates. Both the events spoken of above were mentored by a college professor of KIIT University and helped the venture in acquiring the reputation it enjoys today. They received a great response and recorded a lot many registrations which fueled the fire within them to elevate Campus Induction to greater heights and thus, debouching off the scope of the objective, they lent their assistance to Maa Nirmala Seva Samiti in the city of Jaunpur that stood up to the cause of controlling pollution of river Gomti. The prestigious moment arrived when they were approached to conduct the Linux Workshop and Certification which was in association with IIT, Bombay and MHRD Govt. of India. The online workshop received a whopping 150 registration requests within 5 seconds for limited seats of just 50! The certification exam of this workshop was conducted with more than 90% success rate. The team has been greatly obliged to their college faculty all this while for supporting the existence of their venture, their development and providing them with the essential permissions that made these events a success. The team also formed collaborations during this while which includes the one with ISIC (International Students Identity Card). The card is greatly beneficial for young students as it’s the only internationally accepted proof of student status worldwide. They plan to form more collaboration and grow and organize further. They put in all their efforts and ideas in looking for new ways of expanding their venture with an optimistic mind.

Their future events include the launch of the Campus Induction Inspire series wherein they would be sorting out and presenting a list of inspiring speeches by the officials of reputed companies (like Microsoft, Yahoo, eBay, etc.), Workshops for the civil and mechanical students, an Ethical Hacking Workshop and most importantly a Mock Placement Drive. This drive would be conducted by the Campus Induction team in several institutes and the normal procedures of an interview would be scheduled accordingly. This drive would definitely have an eye-opener effect on the students.

The Campus Induction team plans to embark upon the journey they have chalked out and to compete with, thereafter, win over their own event management skills day after day...
