The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has invited applications for the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) 2022 Dec exam which is scheduled to be held on 17 December, 2022 in two sessions i.e. Morning and Evening.
The candidates can apply in an online mode by visiting the official website of ICAI. The CA CPT Exam is held twice in a year for admission to ICAI in the Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC), which is the entry level qualification required to become a certified Chartered Accountant.
The 4 subjects on which CPT exam will be based include:
- Fundamentals of Accounting
- Mercantile Laws
- General Economics
- Quantitative Aptitude
CA CPT i.e. the Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test has to be cleared to enter the entry level i.e. the first level from where a student can start pursuing the Chartered Accountancy (professional accounting) course. It is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) twice a year: June and December. CA CPT 2022 result for the exam, which was conducted in June got released on July 18, 2022. Soon registration process for CA CPT 2022 December exam will also start. Candidates can check the important dates below and can market the calendar to ensure that they apply for the exam before the last date.
